jon olick之前是naughtydog的主力,后来到idsoftware和卡神并肩作战,然后又走了。。。

其在siggraph上的paper相当hardcore:link


这里他给出了一些graphics的未来的比较强力的方向:

  • higher resolution:texture,geometry,render target resolution。。。
  • more dynamic light
  • prefilter series shadows
  • hair render
  • smoke with fluid simulations
  • voxel series to replace triangle
  • procedural tech
  • progressive tech

个人也非常期待能够脱离triangle&rasterizer进入到更加接近电影级别的时代。
